What does the transcript look like?

Each cue becomes one paragraph; timestamps, cue numbers, and HTML tags are gone. Combine it with the sound-event remover to also drop [Music] and ♪ junk from auto-generated captions.

Why convert SRT to text instead of using the auto-captions panel?

Downloaded caption tracks are full of timing markup and formatting noise. The converter produces a clean transcript you can paste into a blog, newsletter, or AI summarizer without manual cleanup.

Can I get one paragraph for the whole video instead?

The output is paragraph-per-cue, which keeps a readable structure. Paste it into any editor and join as needed — most people find cue paragraphs are the right grain for show notes.
